Epoxy floor coating is a hard, seamless layer formed by mixing epoxy resin with a hardener and applying it to a concrete surface, where it cures chemically. It stops concrete from dusting, protects it against abrasion and chemicals, and makes cleaning easier.
Bare concrete dusts quickly, cracks and traps dirt in its porous structure under forklift traffic, oil, chemicals and constant cleaning. An epoxy coating seals that surface with a single non-porous layer. The result is a hygienic, glossy, easy-to-clean industrial floor that needs no maintenance for years.
The secret of a good result is not the material but the surface preparation. Even the most expensive epoxy will blister and peel within a short time if applied to concrete that has not been ground or whose moisture has not been measured. On every project we open the surface mechanically, measure the moisture and move on to priming only after completing the repair layer.
Not every facility gets the same coating. We decide together on the most suitable of six systems, based on your floor's traffic intensity, chemical exposure and hygiene requirements.

We have been building sports floors and facilities since 2005. Polyurethane on athletics tracks, acrylic on tennis courts, artificial turf on football pitches — what they all share is a properly prepared base. We apply the same engineering discipline to our epoxy work.
We carry out the work with our own team without splitting it among subcontractors. Every stage from grinding and moisture measurement to the final coat is under a single responsibility; when a problem arises there is no crowd of parties for you to argue with about whose job it was.

A quality epoxy floor comes from correct application far more than from the material. The six steps we follow on site are below.
The first step of an epoxy floor application is assessing the existing concrete. Surface hardness, cracks, oil contamination and — most critically — concrete moisture are measured. If the moisture level is above the limit the epoxy will blister off the surface; in that case a moisture-barrier primer is planned first.
The concrete surface is opened mechanically by diamond grinding or shot blasting. Old paint, screed laitance and oil layers are removed to obtain the porous texture the epoxy will bond to. If this step is skipped the coating peels within a short time; it is the stage that determines the life of the system.
Cracks and breaks are filled with epoxy mortar and level differences are evened out. An epoxy primer that penetrates deep into the concrete is then applied; the primer both ensures adhesion and balances topcoat consumption by preventing the concrete from absorbing the resin.
The body is built according to the chosen system: in self-levelling, the self-spreading resin is drawn with a notched trowel and de-aerated with a spiked roller; in the multi-layer system, quartz aggregate is broadcast over the resin so the layers interlock.
A coloured topcoat is applied to seal the surface; a matt, satin or gloss finish is provided on request. Once cured, forklift routes, pedestrian corridors and zone boundaries are marked with epoxy line paint.
Epoxy cures chemically: it is opened to foot traffic after about 24 hours and to full load traffic after 7 days. The surface is inspected, resistance measurement is reported for anti-static systems, and the floor is handed over under a written warranty together with maintenance instructions.

The stated amounts are starting unit prices per m² excluding VAT and vary depending on the application area, the condition of the existing concrete surface, the required thickness and the colour selected. The minimum application area is 200 m². For a net price we carry out a free site survey and provide an itemized quotation.
An epoxy floor price cannot be reduced to a single figure; even two different spaces in the same facility can produce very different costs. The determining factors are the size of the application area, the condition of the existing concrete and the thickness of the chosen system. Below are the main factors that directly affect the m² price.
The larger the area, the lower the unit price per m². Because team and machinery set-up costs are fixed, the unit price of a 200 m² job differs considerably from that of a 2,000 m² job.
Sound, level concrete is ground and primed directly. On cracked floors, floors that have absorbed oil, floors with level differences or previously painted floors, the repair and levelling item raises the cost.
Most of the price difference comes from here: the amount of resin consumed differs several times over between 0.3 mm epoxy paint and a 5 mm quartz-aggregate system.
If the moisture level is above the limit, a special moisture-barrier primer is required. This extra layer increases the cost, but if it is skipped the coating will inevitably blister.
Colours other than standard grey, a non-slip aggregate finish, decorative flake application and floor line marking are items added to the price.
If production cannot be stopped, phased or night and weekend work is required. The province where the site is located and transport conditions are also reflected in the total cost.

In a sports facility the ancillary spaces need the right floor just as much as the playing area does. We apply epoxy and polyurethane coatings in indoor hall corridors, beneath grandstands, in changing rooms, fitness areas and technical spaces.
For the playing area itself, different systems come into play depending on the intended use: artificial turf on football pitches, an acrylic hard surface on tennis and basketball courts, and a polyurethane (tartan) surface on athletics tracks. All rest on the same basic principle — a solid base, correct drainage and application to standard.

The m² price of an epoxy floor varies with the system selected. Our starting prices are: epoxy paint 450 ₺/m², self-levelling epoxy 1,100 ₺/m², multi-layer quartz-aggregate system 1,500 ₺/m², anti-static (ESD) epoxy 2,000 ₺/m² (excluding VAT). The unit price falls as the area grows. The exact price is determined after a free site survey with an itemized quotation.
The duration depends on the area and the system. Over an area of roughly 500 m², epoxy paint is completed in 2–3 days and a self-levelling system in 4–5 days. Curing time is not included in this: the floor is opened to foot traffic after about 24 hours and to full load after 7 days.
Yes, our minimum application area is 200 m². Because team, machinery and material set-up costs are fixed, the unit price per m² rises disproportionately over smaller areas. If your area is smaller, call us anyway and we will assess it together.
An epoxy floor applied with proper surface preparation and the right system choice serves for 10 years and above under normal conditions of use. The main factors determining its life are thickness, traffic intensity and regular cleaning. Thin-film epoxy paint may need refreshing every few years under heavy traffic.
Not directly. Old paint, screed laitance and oil layers are removed mechanically by diamond grinding or shot blasting; reaching the porous surface of the concrete is essential for the epoxy to bond. If this step is skipped the coating peels off together with the old layer.
The two most common causes are inadequate surface preparation and concrete moisture. Epoxy cannot bond to an unground surface; and where the moisture level is above 4%, water-vapour pressure blisters the coating from beneath. That is why we measure moisture before application on every project and apply a moisture-barrier primer where needed.
Yes. We can divide the facility into phases and work at weekends or on the night shift. By progressing section by section we keep production running; we plan the work schedule together with you during the site survey.
Three questions determine the choice: what kind of traffic is on the floor, is there chemical or temperature exposure, and what level of hygiene is required? Epoxy paint is right for a lightly trafficked warehouse, self-levelling for food and pharmaceutical plants, a quartz-aggregate multi-layer system for heavy forklift traffic, and anti-static epoxy for electronics manufacturing. We decide together during the site survey.
A standard gloss finish is not slippery when dry, but it can become slippery when wet. In wet or oily areas we add non-slip aggregate to the topcoat to achieve a surface in class R11–R12, so that occupational-safety requirements are met.
Maintenance is easy. Regular sweeping or washing with a neutral detergent using a scrubber machine is sufficient. Abrasive wire brushes and strong acidic cleaners should be avoided. Applying rubber protection tape at forklift crossing points noticeably extends the service life. We share the maintenance instructions with you at handover.
It is mandatory in circuit-board and semiconductor production because electrostatic discharge causes permanent damage to sensitive components. It is also applied as an occupational-safety requirement in environments containing explosive or flammable materials, to eliminate the risk of sparks. We provide a surface-resistance measurement report at handover.
Epoxy is harder and more abrasion-resistant; it is the right choice for most indoor industrial areas. Polyurethane is flexible, does not yellow under UV light and withstands thermal shock. Polyurethane is preferred in sunlit areas, cold stores and food lines washed with hot water.

Unlike adhesive tape, an epoxy line integrates with the floor and does not lift under forklift traffic. It can also be added later to an existing epoxy floor.
